Important COVID Update

An important message for eveyone involved with our club.

Since season 19-20 was cut short due to the COVID pandemic, the Football Association have been working hard to bring some certainty to when junior football will return for season 20-21.

Current plans have the junior football season starting early October with the Football Association putting the required controls in place to ensure that it can do so as safely as possible.

In order for football to re-start here at Rawmarsh St Josephs, the first step was for the club to complete a detailed risk assessment of the match day experience and also training nights at Dearne Valley College. The risk assessment is now complete and the club are working on reducing these risks before the season starts.

To ensure that everyone who visits our home ground can do so as safely as possible, there’s a number of controls that we have put in place and we ask all visitors to read the attached guidance and adhere to it when they’re on site.

Once the season starts and players and supporters return, the guidance will be continually reviewed and improved. If you do have any feedback to the controls in place you can speak to our COVID officer directly or send your feedback to covid@rawmarshstjosephsjfc.co.uk.

One of many changes that we’ve implemented is to use evePASS to meet our track and trace requirements. We ask all visitors to download and register with the app before they visit site and ‘check-in’ when arriving and ‘check-out’ when leaving. This is required for both match day and training.

Guidance Change History

9 September 2020 – Training guidance updated to confirm the use of evePass on training nights. Both documents updated to reflect that guardians need to check their player in even if they aren’t attending themselves.
